I trust this finds you well and hope that your new year is filled with joy and health.

If your wondering why you're receiving this email it's because when you downloaded the ebook Going...Going...Gone..! you submitted your email address. For some of you that may have been a few years ago. Whenever I write a blog post, you automatically receive an email. However, I rarely, almost never write blog posts. I assume most folks don't want to regularly read about deconversion!

However, I thought I would write a short post and provide an update for those who might be interested or want to take advantage of some of the new material on the website.

Since writing Going...Going...Gone..! I have written four more books on deconversion, three of which are published and a fourth that is due out in August 2023. You can find out more about all of them and listen to audio samples at the website. Below is my forthcoming book with Sean McDowell on how to deconstruct one's faith without losing it.

I've also added a lot of more content to the website, specifically for those trying to understand the deconversion of a loved one and for those who are wrestling with their faith but want to avoid losing their faith.

Finally, for the last year, as the coordinator of the Biola University Center for Christian Thought, I've been overseeing the Sustainable Faith Project, a coordinated effort with scholars from around the globe, seeking to uncover how lasting religious faith can be developed in an increasingly secular world. The new project the Center will be working on over the next year will be to investigate the relationship between incivility among Christians and deconversion.
